A cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Only the required courses are included in the GPA calculation
for admission to RN to BSN program.
Have graduated from an associate degree or diploma program
that was NLNAC accredited at the time of graduation.
Confirmation letter from employer documenting work experience if > 12 months
after graduation.

Licensed registered
nurses who have met all of the lower division nursing curriculum
requirements and graduated from an associated degree or diploma
program that was NLN accredited at the time of graduation may
receive credit for 34 hours of nursing courses if they meet
specific requirements.
* Please note that for graduation 3-6 hours of electives
are required in addition to the 55-58 hours of general education.
These hours are not required prior to admission to RN-BSN program.
Apply for admission to ATU either online at www.atu.edu or
obtain paper application from the Admission Office.
Obtain and submit an application to Upper division Nursing
from the Department of Nursing.
Have official transcripts from all institutions of
higher learning attended (all institutions beyond high school) sent to: Ladonna Snider Secretary Department of Nursing Dean Hall, Room 224,
402 West O Street, Russellville, AR 72801.
Schedule an appointment (face-to-face or phone) to discuss
academic record and remaining prerequisite requirements, if any.
The General Education courses (listed below) must be completed.
